We have already suggested that you should consider WordPress as CMS system for your NGO or Non-profit organization.  The wordpress core is still missing many things that can make your site look better and work better for your NGO or non-profit organization.  Here is list of plug-ins that you can use to adopt WordPress to your needs.

Mailpress- is the the most powerful newsletter system available for WordPress, it will manage the users.  Simply put form on your frontpage and user can register through it, you can also mass import older mailing lists.  After you make your custom template for your mail, just send directly to the list through WordPress.

  10. PageNavi – Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress blog.  In stead of next one it puts list of number of pages below and makes browsing much easier.
